Clean Water-Related Allies
- Citizens for a Healthy Bay - Protecting and restoring Commencement Bay in Tacoma, Washington. Visit their Web site or call them at (253) 383-2429.
- Clean Marina Program - The Clean Marina program is a three-way partnership between the recreational boating industry (represented by the Northwest Marine Trade Association), Puget Soundkeeper Alliance and the EnviroStars Cooperative to establish Certified Clean Marinas.
- Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition - In 2001, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) listed the lower Duwamish River – a five-mile stretch through South Seattle – as a federal SUPERFUND site. The Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition was formed by an alliance of community, environmental and small business groups affected by ongoing pollution and cleanup plans for the Duwamish River. Their mission is to ensure a Duwamish River cleanup that is accepted by, and benefits, the community, and protects fish, wildlife and human health.
- Earthjustice - "Earthjustice is a non-profit public interest law firm dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment. We bring about far-reaching change by enforcing and strengthening environmental laws on behalf of hundreds of organizations and communities."
- Endangered Species International - Strongly committed to reversing the trend of human-induced species extinction, save endangered species and preserving their vital ecosystems.
- Earth Share of Washington - Puget Soundkeeper Alliance is a proud member of Earth Share of Washington. Through workplace giving campaigns, Earth Share raises money for more than 70 local, national, and international environmental organizations.
- EnviroStars - EnviroStars is part of our Solution-Oriented Partnerships program. The goal of the EnviroStars Program is to give businesses incentives and recognition for reducing hazardous waste, while giving consumers an objective way to identify environmentally sound businesses, using a two to five star rating scale.
- National Clean Boating Campaign - Another important part of our Solution-Oriented Partnerships program, the National Clean Boating Campaign, through education and outreach, teaches boaters and businesses best boat maintenance and management practices.
- Puget Sound Partnership - The goal of this state agency is to restore and protect the biological health and diversity of Puget Sound by protecting and enhancing Puget Sound's water and sediment quality, its fish and shellfish, and its wetlands and other habitats.
- ReSources - The Puget Soundkeeper Alliance contracts through ReSources in Bellingham, Washington to provide a North Sound Baykeeper.
- Waterkeeper Alliance - Puget Soundkeeper is one of 70 members of the national Waterkeeper Alliance. You can find out more about keepers around the country or learn how to start a keeper program in your area. There is also a detailed history of the keeper movement, founded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

- Car Wash Enterprises - Brown Bear Car Wash partners with Puget Soundkeeper Alliance to educate car owners on the environmental benefits of commercial car washes compared to the environmental hazards of washing cars in driveways or parking lots.
- Charity
Car Wash
- Selling tickets to a commercial car wash (rather than having one in a
parking lot) is not only better for the environment, it's better for
your organization. You can sell car wash tickets, via the Charity Car
Wash, that are redeemable at over 30 environmentally-friendly,
commercial car wash facilities throughout the Puget Sound area. (You
must belong to a qualifying organization.)
