Puget Soundkeeper Alliance cleans up marine debris from Myrtle Edwards Park

Please join us for the Myrtle Edwards Park Marine Debris Cleanup

This event is part of International Coastal Cleanup Day! Marine DebrisVolunteers will contribute to a global effort to study and solve the marine debris problem by picking up trash along Seattle's urban shoreline park.  Volunteers will tally each item collected on data cards to be submitted for global statistics.  This is a great opportunity to act locally for a global initiative!

Meeting location:

The south end of the parking lot located at 16th Ave W. and W. Galer St. in Seattle

Lunch included

Celebration and lunch follow the cleanup at noon.   Delicious refreshments will be provided.  In an effort to minimize the use of disposable plastics, please bring your own reusable coffee cup & water bottle.

Special thanks to Ocean Conservancy, Bank of America, The Boeing Company, REI, Teva, Restore our Waters, Clean and Green Seattle, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Parks, NOAA Marine Debris program and more.
