Seattle Waterfront Cleanup at Myrtle Edwards Park

Puget Soundkeeper Alliance, the City of Seattle's Restore Our Waters and the SAM Olympic Sculpture Park are partnering to clean up trash from Seattle's downtown shoreline.  Volunteers will pick up trash and marine debris while collecting valuable data about the origins of the mess.  This information will be shared with the Ocean Conservancy as part of their 2009 International Coastal Cleanup.  In 2008 400,000 volunteers in 104 countries and 42 US states cleaned up 6.8 million pounds of trash in this world-wide annual event.

PLEASE HELP US REDUCE WASTE BY BRINGING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE.

Please join us in this collaborative effort.  Businesses are encourage to put together a team of volunteers for a "day of service."

Advance registration required.

Lunch provided by Whole Foods.
