Stillaguamish River Clean-Up
Puget Soundkeeper Alliance cleanup event Come help the Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force and Puget Soundkeeper Alliance clean-up the Stillaguamish River! When plastic bags, empty bottles and large debris gets left behind in our rivers it can pose serious threats to wildlife, including salmon. Trash can release dangerous toxins into the watershed and can injure, strangle or even kill wildlife from entanglement or ingestion. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn more about the issue of trash in our watersheds, salmon and how to help make our earth a cleaner place to live at this family-friendly event! Funding is provided by the Tulalip Tribes Charitable Fund grant, with support from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. |
