Citizen Soundkeepers
Citizen Soundkeepers- how our members and volunteers help prevent pollution in Puget Sound
By motor boat, kayak, bicycle or even on foot, Citizen Soundkeepers are helping to protect Puget Sound from polluters. The Soundkeeper relies on the help of concerned citizens to alert us of pollution.
If
you frequently travel near any waterway around the Sound, including
inland lakes and rivers, you can help! With our help, so that you know
exactly what to look for, you can help prevent pollution in your
neighborhood. Bicycle commuters and joggers/walkers, it's easy to keep
you eyes peeled for pollution if you know where to look.
For more
details you can contact Puget Soundkeeper Alliance at (206) 297-7002,
email us at volunteer@pugetsoundkeeper.org, or check our Calendar for
upcoming volunteer trainings.
