Since early September, Puget Soundkeeper Alliance has been partnering with a variety of groups and communities to complete shoreline cleanups throughout the Puget Sound as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup! At each event, our volunteers have diligently recorded all of the different debris we pick up so that the Ocean Conservancy can gather a global picture of what sorts of debris end up in our waterways. We have cleaned up 12 sites so far, and will be cleaning a couple more in the coming weeks – check out these photos from some of our recent cleanups!
