Late last fall, Lake Ontario Waterkeeper Mark Mattson published a blog post on the six qualities of a water leader. One item on the list stuck out to us – knowing your personal water story. Many of us have worked so long for water that we have endless stories to tell, but that first connection is something that can’t be replicated. This year for World Water Day, we’re inviting you to share your water story with us and inspire others to look at the ways in which clean water plays a part in their lives.
We’ll be sharing stories on social media starting on March 22nd, the official World Water Day, and continuing throughout the following week. Unless you choose to remain anonymous, your words and images will be credited with your name. While our efforts are focused on Puget Sound, our stories span the globe and we imagine yours do as well. We can’t wait to hear them.
