Developed with the generous assistance of innumerable members of our community and led by several of our key Board Members and staff team, Puget Soundkeeper is excited to announce a new three-year strategic plan to help guide our impact and efforts around the Sound and throughout its watershed! New in this plan is a reimagined Puget Soundkeeper Mission and Vision, as well as goals crafted to drive sustainable growth balanced with work protecting clean water and vulnerable communities.
Our Mission: To be a trusted leader and collaborator for all communities, in court and on the water, fighting for a healthy Puget Sound
Our Vision: A Puget Sound where clean water sustains vibrant ecosystems and fosters equitable, thriving communities
Overall, we have three key priorities: to (1) fully occupy our law and policy jurisdiction around the Sound, (2) build and foster better community connections to the Puget Sound and its watersheds, and (3) improve water quality through local action, volunteerism, and innovation.
Our ability to grow into our next 40 years of service to the Sound depends on our community – the supporters, volunteers, experts, voices, and champions that fuel our shared approach to advocacy and clean water protection. We can’t wait collaborate with you on protecting Puget Sound!
