Join our partner, the North Sound Baykeeper, for an overnight cleanup and paddle of Baker Lake!
Join friends from RE Sources, North Cascades Institute, and the Mount Baker Sierra Club for our annual litter cleanup along the shores of beautiful Baker Lake. Spend the day or camp overnight – it’s free and open to all volunteers! A limited number of canoes will be provided, but it will be very helpful if you bring your own canoe or kayak. One kayak made entirely of waste from cleanups will be on display!
While much of our cleanup efforts focus on beaches and local parks, the flow of garbage into the environment can begin near wilderness areas. Join us for a day of litter removal to ensure trash stays out of our shared waterways, and Baker Lake stays beautiful for summers to come.
