City Nature Challenge: Tidepooling

April 28 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Puget Soundkeeper, Seal Sitters, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for a City Nature Challenge at Charles Richey Sr Viewpoint Park in West Seattle.

This public meetup will help you learn how to use the iNaturalist phone app and participate in City Nature Challenge, a global effort to document urban biodiversity.

This meetup is free and open to all ages, no registration required. All you need is a mobile phone or tablet with data, and the free iNaturalist app. Staff will help you download the app if you would like assistance. If you don’t have a smartphone or the app, don’t worry! Ware more than happy to help pair you up with somebody who does.

At the event, we will show how you can help by observing nature, identifying critters, and looking high and low for all the biodiversity in the Seattle-Tacoma area (all of Snohomish, King and Pierce counties). Then, share your observations using iNaturalist!
