Coastal Cleanup at Ocean City State Park [July 9]

July 9, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join Puget Soundkeeper and Twin Harbors Waterkeeper for an exciting cleanup on July 9th from 10 am-2 pm along Ocean City State Park’s shoreline! Friends and family are welcome to join us for the cleanup.

Participants are also welcome to stay overnight and camp with us but will need to organize their own accommodation. Supplies will be provided, but a Discover pass is required to enter the state park.

We will be collecting trash big and small and will be conducting our first nurdle patrol. Nurdles are small plastic pellets that are typically used to make larger plastic products, but they can easily enter the ocean and wash up on beaches.

Help us clean up the Puget Sound and make it a healthier place for all life forms by registering here!

NOTE: This event was initially happening at Griffiths-Priday State park, but we recently moved the event to Ocean City State Park to avoid disrupting the Greater-Sand Plover nesting season at Griffiths-Priday State Park. If you have any questions, please email Jillian Currier (jillianc@pugetsoundkeeper.org).
