On Saturday, April 18th, celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with the Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition/TAG, Port of Seattle, Duwamish Longhouse, Seattle Parks and Recreation and Puget Soundkeeper as we restore habitat, improve water quality, and keep public access space along the Duwamish River safe and beautiful!
Where: Duwamish Longhouse (4705 W Marginal Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106), Restoration sites will be held at T-107 Park and Herrings House right across the street!
*Please note that the restoration events are on a first come first serve basis.* Sign ups will be between 9:00am and 10:30am.
9:00am – Doors open – breakfast is included. It will also be a chance to get to know the organizations and what restoration events you can participate in!
10:00am – Event begins/welcome with speakers
10:30am-12pm – Restoration events (shoreline cleanup, kayak cleanup, native plant restoration)
12:00pm-2:30pm Family Fun Fair begins and restoration activities continue (lunch provided by The Duwamish Longhouse)
2:30pm – Closing remarks
