Puget Soundkeeper will be participating in the Fremont Solstice Parade this year and will be carrying our 15′ tall puppet, Enki, the God of Water, in the parade. We need one person to carry Enki (he’s a backpack puppet), and additional folks (4-5) to manage his arms, eyes (yes, they move!) and clothing.
Enki is a street puppet that was built in Port Townsend, Washington in 2019 by a group of local artists. Enki is the Sumerian God of Water … and of wisdom and creation! He reminds us that protecting the flow and purity of water is not a choice, but a sacred duty that sustains all life.
