International Coastal Cleanup: Duwamish River, Seattle

River Access Paddle Program (RAPP) invites community members to BYOBoat for a Duwamish River tour and International Coastal Cleanup event. Participants will visit the areas around the He?apus Village site and Kellogg Island, and view ongoing restoration along the river.

Dress for the weather and be prepared to get wet and muddy as you remove marine debris, plastic and other garbage from the Duwamish River. This event runs from 12pm–3pm and time on the water will be between 90 minutes–2.5 hours.

Parking lot address: 4570 W Marginal Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106
Herrings House Park is located just east of the Duwamish Longhouse. Park in the lot and walk towards the water. Follow the path and meet at the green warehouse south of the parking lot.

Important: This is a BYOBoat event. There are NO onsite kayak, canoe, or SUP rentals. Please bring your own and be prepared to transport it to the water. Bring your own water, but snacks will be provided.
