This volunteer-led event launches from the University of Washington Waterfront Activities Center. Meet at WAC and rent a kayak ($38), then paddle toward the Union Bay wildlife area to clean debris from Lake Washington. This marshland provides critical habitat for an astounding array of urban wildlife. Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of a river otter, beaver, turtle, eagle, heron or osprey while you work!
