Please join Soundkeeper for our first in-person Science on Tap member meeting this May!
Puget Soundkeeper Policy Manager Alyssa Barton will speak about stormwater pollution in Puget Sound, and how Green Infrastructure can help save coho salmon from life-threatening tire chemicals. We’ll hear from the WA Scuba Alliance about state-of-the-art technology used to clean up 50,000 tires from the Puget Sound. A local transportation justice activist joins us to illuminate the “chicken / egg” scenario between transit and housing, and why WA needs to build both to help our communities and local environment.
