Pint-Sized Science at Geaux Brewing

July 12, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Please join us this month at Geaux Brewing for an evening focused on learning about various wildlife around Puget Sound through the lens of clean water. Michelle Wainstein will kick off the evening with an overview of how she is using river otters to track contaminants in our waterways. Jeanette Dorner will follow up with a talk on salmon recovery and Elyssa Kerr will take it form there with a talk on the importance of an unlikely keystone species: beavers. We will end the evening hearing about meaningful individual actions you can take to reduce your impact! Come early to get a good seat and get some good food and drinks; event starts at 7pm. The event is family friendly, and there are toys and coloring activities for kids.

Speakers:
Michelle Wainstein, Woodland Park Zoo
Jeanette Dorner, Mid Sound Fisheries
Elyssa Kerr, Beavers Northwest
