Come join us for a cold drink and a warm dinner and learn about the evolution of pollution in Puget Sound! While our waterways are teeming with beauty, lurking under the surface are hotspots of contamination that scientists and regulators are working to remove. There are new concerns arising all the time as well as new products are developed and enter the waterways through wastewater treatment plants and stormwater drains and runoff. Three fantastic presenters will take you through the early days of contamination to learning about emerging concerns. We’ll end with information on meaningful individual actions you can take to reduce your impact and protect our shared waterways for future generations.
