Please join us September 19th in Georgetown for a family-friendly evening focused on learning about some of the environmental issues in the nearby Duwamish River. To kick off the event, we will begin the evening with a fun trivia game—and the winner gets a Puget Soundkeeper T-shirt! From there, you will learn about what types of contaminants are in the Duwamish River, and move into learning about the clean-up that is going on in there. In addition, you will hear about legal actions that are being taken to safely have industry in Georgetown while protecting the health of the waterways. We will close with hearing about meaningful individual actions that audience members can take to reduce their impact on Puget Sound waterways. Feel free to bring your kids and your own food, and also please try to support Machine House Brewery if you are able.
