Pint-Sized Science: A Closer Look at Puget Sound

Please join us this month at Repair Revolution for a family-friendly evening focused on learning about pollution from roadways and stormwater. First off, we will hear from Amanda Bidwell, who will talk about the pollutants found in moss near traffic corridors. Next we will hear from Sophia Ressler and Alyssa Barton, who will talk about what is being done by municipalities to reduce the amount of stormwater reaching waterways. We will then hear from Eli Allison about how we can reduce impacts from our cars. We will close with hearing about meaningful individual actions that audience members can take to reduce their impact on Puget Sound waterways. Ninkasi beer will be available for purchase!

Speakers:
Amanda Bidwell, University of Washington
Sophia Ressler and Alyssa Barton, Puget Soundkeeper
