The pollution you can’t see – and the pollution you can! Join us for a cold beer and a warm dinner to learn about the science being done on waterways around Puget Sound! The evening will kick off with a talk on how surface contamination gets into local waterways and what it does to organisms, and this will be followed by a talk on how contamination in groundwater moves around. We will then hear about the large debris that you can easily spot and what is being done about it. The evening will wrap up with information about meaningful individual actions to take that will reduce impacts on local waterways.
