SUMMARY:Nerd out for Nutrients!
DESCRIPTION:When wastewater treatment plants discharge into Puget Sound\, they also release excess nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus. Puget Soundkeeper has been working to make sure that wastewater treatment plants put in proper safeguards to prevent pollution from excess nutrients that harm our waters\, fish\, and animals that rely on healthy fish populations in the Sound. \nJoin our legal and advocacy team at ‘Nerd Out for Nutrients’ to learn more about this issue and what Puget Soundkeeper is doing to protect our waters. Register here. \nParticipants will be responsible for covering the cost of their food and beverages. \nQuestions? Email Rizzo\, our Staff Attorney\, at rizzok@pugetsoundkeeper.org
