Saturday, September 16 is International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day! Participate in an ICC event and join thousands of people around the world removing trash from local waterways.

The official ICC day is September 16, but Puget Soundkeeper is a regional captain and is helping to organize events all month long. We’ll use Ocean Conservancy’s CleanSwell app to record the types of trash we find. This data informs policy and practical solutions to the global problem of marine debris and plastic pollution.

Participating Puget Sound International Coastal Cleanup locations are listed below. These beach, park, and trail cleanups are open to the public, so find an event near you!
