In addition to being required to implement pollution controls, these settlements awarded $203,000 in environmental benefit projects including:

  • $5,000 — Fauntleroy Watershed Council, Kilbourne Ravine Riparian and Buffer Project
  • $10,000 — Friends of North Creek Forest, Friends of North Creek Forest Phase II
  • $44,773.69 — Environmental Coalition of South Seattle, Puget Sound Spill Kit Program
  • $10,000 — Save Habitat and Diversity of Wetlands, Environmental Education and Outreach General Operating Support
