Waterkeeper Alliance, Sierra Club, 350.org and others joined together for a massive rally on Sunday, February 17 on the White House Lawn to tell President Obama to stop numerous dirty energy proposals and move forward on clean energy and clean water.   It was the largest rally for climate change in our nation’s history!

Puget Soundkeeper Chris Wilke joined Sierra Club, Mayor Mike McGinn and HUNDREDS of concerned citizens in a show of solidarity for a rally and march at Golden Gardens Park at 11:30 Sunday.  Discussed were the adverse effects on Puget Sound from proposed Gateway Pacific Coal Terminal and climate change in general.
Following the speeches, the “Walking train against Coal Trains” and the rally attendees walked from Golden Gardens to Ray’s Cafe.
