Join Aden’s annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) at Marina Beach Park in Edmonds.
Every year, over 8 million tons of plastic enter the world’s oceans—equivalent to one garbage truck every minute. In Puget Sound alone, volunteers have removed thousands of pounds of debris, including plastics and hazardous materials like creosote-treated wood and tires, from our shorelines.
This October, Aden Han (5th grader at Evergreen School in Shoreline) is partnering with Puget Soundkeeper to host an International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) at Marina Beach Park in Edmonds. Together, we’ll remove litter, collect valuable data, and contribute to policies that protect our environment and communities from pollution. This family-friendly event welcomes volunteers of all ages—kids included!
This cleanup is led by a Puget Soundkeeper volunteer – if you’re able to attend their cleanup, please do so! You can register here.
Meeting Location: Marina Beach Park. 470 Admiral Way, Edmonds WA 98020. Picnic area on the grassy lawn by the dock at the beach entrance on Admiral Way.
