During Earth Month 2012, Aveda stylists at over 40 salons in Greater Puget Sound asked their clients to give for clean water.
To celebrate and activate support for clean, fishable waters, and to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act which was enacted in 1972 to ensure fishable and swimmable waters around the nation.
“Our members are out on the water,” said Jody Kennedy, of the Surfrider Foundation. “They are on the front lines when it comes to pollution.”
